This is the first time that I've ever posted a comment. I'm here to explain this David entry. I wanted to play up to Michelangelo's sculpture. The original title was 'the new David', and I still feel it should be, but that wound up being a little too vague. To me, the David statue symbolizes strength and human beauty and is undoubtedly renowned. Since I am Jalen's biggest admirer, I wanted to depict him in this light. The photo was a predetermined shot and the quote I got from some website. I thought the whole idea would be cute. The concept here may have been executed a bit too subtly but I hope at least a couple of people got it.
